We figured that as bloggers we should fill you in on our lives and how we came to be "partners in crime". No, we aren't celebrities or lead crazy dramatic lives. However, we think that you will appreciate our "normalcy" and if nothing else, have a good laugh.

I am originally from Vacaville California. I graduated from Brigam Young University -Idaho in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance and Supply Chain Management in April 2010. It's funny how things work out. It seems like a lot of people, including myself spend so much money, time, & effort studying one career and end up working another. It just goes to show, things rarely go as you plan. Lucky for me my original plans changed. After graduation I ended up working in Naples, FL. I am currently a "Community Liaison" for a local family owned home health company. I became a part of the Direct Care family to take care of the marketing and sales for their medicare certified home health agency.
I have always been intrigued by successful business people, their background, and exactly how they ended up where they are now. If an outsider looked in on my interest in studying people, they may just think I was obsessed with success. The truth is, I really just enjoy small business and the people who have the courage to take the risk associated with starting any business.

I am originally from Oklahoma City but spent most of my life growing up on the East coast of Florida. I came to Naples in 2000 to attend Florida Gulf Coast University where I found my passion for Photography. I have been in the photography field (mainly weddings & candid) for years and have recently decided to take a step back and only shoot for fun.
I have worked for Arbor Trace, an upscale retirement community for 8 years now. I started out as a server in the dining room and worked my way up over the years. For the past 2 years I have been Director of Marketing & Events for Arbor Glen, our assisted living facility. I also have my real estate license which allows me to manage our rental program here in the community. If you would have asked me 8 years ago what I wanted to do with my life, I would have replied "I have NO idea". By the grace of God i have been blessed with this amazing career that I truly enjoy. I am always looking for new things to learn and I enjoy a good challenge. I am by far a "People Person". I LOVE doing for others and making a difference in their lives. I think that success comes from within and is not defined by what society makes it. In my life success is a combination of believing you can do anything you set your mind to, doing your very best at achieving your goals, fully trusting God actually DOES have a plan for your life (even though sometimes it doesn't feel like it), and hopefully somewhere in the mix finding a way to make some sort of a positive difference in the world.
As a Pair
Lindsey and Jenn's marketing careers brought them together in the Fall of 2009. Lindsey was an intern for GE Medical, a DME company, and visited Jenn at Arbor Trace looking for referrals. They instantly bonded and became friends. Not only do they have a great friendship, they also have a successful marketing partnership. They co-market a lot of events together and brainstorm creative ways to promote communtiy awareness for both companies. They make a great team in the sense that they really balance out each others strengths and weaknesses.
